Cinco de Mayo, or the fifth of May, is a holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. The day, which falls on Friday, May 5 in 2023, is also known as Battle of Puebla Day. While it is a relatively minor holiday in Mexico, in the United States, Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage, particularly in areas with large Mexican-American populations.

Whether you’re Irish by birth or simply in spirit, we’re welcoming one and all to join Tubac’s very own Annual John Crowley Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Line up starts at 9:00 AM – Parade starts at 10:00 AM

Parade takes a circuit of Tubac and ends at Tubac Jack’s.

Costumes are strongly encouraged.

Corned Beef & Cabbage and Green Beer will be on the menu all weekend!

Los Nawdy Dawgs LIVE!

Tubac Jack’s Restaurant & Saloon in Tubac, AZ, features Mesquite smoked meats done right on the premises. We feature an eclectic menu of BBQ, Mexican, and favorites such as steaks, salads, burgers, pulled pork and, of course, our world famous green chili stew. Jack’s has a huge patio to enjoy those beautiful Southern Arizona days and evenings, as well as a full dining room and bar suited for any size party.

We have a rotating list of bands playing on our patio every Saturday night as well as most Friday and Saturday afternoons.
